Best Ab Exercises
Best Ab Exercises Workout A Finally you have made it here, if you haven't already review the points on how to reveal your six pack on the free ab workout page. Once you have done that and youhave been eating well for several days, you have started on regular cardio workouts, now you are ready to put the icing on the cake. Here are what I would define as the best ab exercises for the upper abs.Note: you cannot really isolate the upper and lower abs as they are one muscle, but you can put more emphasis on one section at a time.
1.Slow speed sit up on exercise ball. Lie on an exercise ball and curl up into a full sit up, do this all the way at a slow speed, take 4 seconds up and 4 seconds to lower yourself, Do 1 set of 10-15 reps.If you do not have an exercise ball, you can do this on the floor, roll up a small towel to put under your lower back. Keep your head aligned with your body. Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth throughout the movement, this will relieve tension in your neck muscles. Remember to curl up! If these are done properly, it is unlikely you will do many reps. 2.Full V sit (slow 3 second speed)
Lie on the floor, with feet flat and legs straight. Stretch our your arms behind your head - sit up and lift your legs at the same time, so that they meet in the air, then lower again. So you will raise your legs and arms from horizontal until they meet at 90 degress in the air vertically, Do 1 set of 10-15
3.Legs in air touch toes (slow 3 second speed) As with the full V sit, but this time keep your legs vertical the whole time, curl up your trunk as far as you can and touch your toes, Do 1 set of 10-15 No rest between sets and repeat for a total of 6 sets.
