Muscle Building
Muscle Building is hard no matter what they say! Who is they? The Internet guru's. There are many programs out there targetted at ectomorphs, naturally thin people that find it hard to gain muscle. Muscle building is hard for anyone let alone thin people, however each new program promises the world. They all state the same thing in different forms. "I was once thin until I discovered the secret". I gained 100 lbs of muscle in 3 months, 3 years, etc. Some true, some not true, but with all these muscle building programs, they are based on what worked for the author. This does not mean it will work for you. Maybe the author was never an ectomorph, maybe they just did not eat enough. There is a HUGE difference with an ectomoprh, (eats alot and doesn't gain weight) and a thin person that just doesn't eat much. If you fit into the category of hardgainer, you have searched for the ultimate program. There are some things that are standard and free to know. You DO need to eat more, rest more and train less frequently, train heavy, intensely, tick all the boxes, true and true, BUT this does not guarantee anything at all. You could do everything by the book and still have minimal to show for your muscle building efforts.
The reason for this is genetics - what are your parents, uncles, aunties , grandparents bodies like? are most of them naturally thin or muscular and stocky. You cannot fight nature, unfortunately this is where most guys especially consider steroids. You will see very few non steroid uses with big muscular chests. What abuot natural body builders? Apart from their dedication - they are gifted genetically as well - do not understimate this.
