Reduce Cellulite

If you want to reduce cellulite there are things you can do. There are many products on the market and if you read the small print you will see "may reduce the appearance of cellulite. There is nothing magical about these products. They are NOT removing the cellulite at all, but smoothing the skin over to make it less visible. That is not a bad thing. Truth be know it is not the product as much as the massage that makes this improvement.

Cellulite is a fatty deposit. It is in fact mishaped fat that places itself around the thighs and buttocks mostly in women and has a dimpled appearance. With this in mind it should be treated like any other fat. There is no way to remove it with creams and lotions. Don't be fooled by these.

In order to reduce cellulite followe this plan.

1.Limit SaltSalt retains water, water is important for flushing toxins out of your body and helps your liver release fat (cellulite) burning enzymes.

2.Drink 8 glasses of water each daySee reasons in point 1 above, does not include liquids that contain water, that is 8 glasses of good old plain water.

3.Eat lots of fruit and vegetables and limit satured fats, avoid trans fats, limit sugar and processed foods. East mostly foods that grow on trees or in the ground, or swam, walked or flew. Eating unprocessed food will have a major impact on your body.

4.Vigorous exercise - forget the casual walk, you need to attack this with aggression, intense cardiovascular workouts that burn fat, get your heart rate up for at least 30 mins 5-6 times a week. This will use the cellulite on your body as fuel and it will melt away. Also include weight training as this will tone and firm those areas replacing the dimples with toned muscle giving it a smooth appearance.

5.Massage - This increases circulation and blood flow to the area, this will reduce the appearaance of cellulite and will make your workouts more effective as it help with recovery. You can use one of the creams you buy from the shop if it makes you feel better, but facts are you will get just as good results using a little bit of olive oil. Take some olive oil and spend 10 minute several nights a week rubbing and massaging it deeply into those areas.
